Well smoking because it effects not only you but the people around you. More people die of lung cancer 10 fold any of the other things.

Well a person can usually help themselves in any of the 3 cases listed. Obesity can normally be helped but there are cases when people have thyroid problems in which case I would think that would be the most serious. Smoking is a bad habit that I myself partake in, but as the previous person said, you can stop that at any time given the will power. Alcohol is not risky when consumed in moderation...but an alcoholic can be very dangerous.. many people cannot comprehend that alcoholism is actually a disease, like diabetes. If that is the case, I think alcoholism is most serious.

Well, my opinion about "Obesity"....I think it just has alot to do with our country......And all the "Super Size Me" Crap. Americans are pretty lazy if you think about it. I'm 5'8 and I weigh like 112lbs. Because I choose to be skinny. My husband is a manager at a restaurant where we live....I see ppl come in that weigh 300+...Why? If I had a weight problem....HELL NO would I be going out to eat. I would be on a diet and exercising! That's where I say laziness is America's problem. People think fast food is just easier than cooking a "good for you" meal. Cause no one wants to take the time. But if you look at the hispanic population there arent near as Obesity problems. You know why? They dont go eat fast food for like 3 meals aday!!!!! I can't tell you if this makes since to any of you. I tried to put into words what I really think about this issue. But I dont know if I did a really good job of it or not. Sorry

Alcohol because it can kill you in one night if you're stupid and drink too much of a high percentage spirit. It takes at least half a year to get obese but you can get addicted to the other 2 very easily. You could get rid of all the cigarettes and cigars etc. and the alcohol. And you can only let the country have heathy food like vegetables and the vital amount of meat.

Depends what you mean.

Obesity takes longer to develop as well as to lose. It doesn't wipe out organs as fast as the other two. And you can't get passive obesity or inebriation.

On the other hand alcohol is most useful, in that one drink can even be good for you, unlike one cigarette or one love-handle.

So it depends on your frame of reference.

In terms of what I enjoy doing, it's in this order: alcohol, smoking, obesity. To be honest, I very rarely go out intending to get fat.

Speaking of which, that's the only one of the three that the bloody government hasn't taxed yet... I give it a year.

Obesity by far- #1 killer in America right now

I think that you should get a tax break for being healthy or at least on a regular exercise program.

I also think your insurance company should give you a reduced rate as well...or have a health program included.

People respond to these 2 things.

I think alcohol is more serious; it affects the mind in a way the other two can't touch. I think smoking is hardest to overcome (of the three). And I think obesity it the most prevalent of three health problems in the US.

Alcohol, because it not only kills the drinker, but often kills innocent bystanders. You can walk away from smoky air, but you can't escape a drunk driver, or a drunk wife beater, or a drunk violent person who has a weapon and a grudge. Alcohol impairs your ability to think rationally, see properly, hear properly, and it messes with your head and tells you that you are just fine, and justified in any of your actions. It's such an epidemic because it's so readily available, and sanctioned by the governments (for taxes) and sanctioned by the general population.

At the moment obesity is becomming the major problem, but the other two are pretty bad. All three kill millions per year, but terrorists get the headlines and only kill a small portion of that!

the only solution to two and three is to ban it but the government wont because of all the revenue they collect from it. obesity is the worst i think. i know a few but its only a few that can blame thier genes but the vast majority just dont stop eating. they need therapy of some sort.

Those with eating disorders.Young adult females
weighing round about 841bs,they think they look
good and the fashion industry employ these girl
to model clothing.
They must stop employing wafer thin girls and it would
encourage them to put weight on.
Some fashion houses do this but not all so now is the
time to start.
