Depends - if you held it under water for 10 mins then it is less likely to scar. If it does blister do not pop it or you are likely to get an infection in it.

Leave it alone - it may appear to go a little brown on top - this is the scalds eviqalent of a scab and will go - underneath the skin will be fine.

It would depend on how thick the burn is. If it's only through the first couple of layers, then you should see no scarring.

Try not to pop any blisters. They will keep the area underneath clean whilst the skin repairs itself. If you do pop the blister, there is a risk of infection.

The application of antiseptic cream is not advised unless the skin is actually broken.

The only sort of cream you should put on is a specific burns gel, which cools the burn down.

If you get a burn, you need to, if possible, hold the affected part under a running cold water tap for at least 15 minutes. This will reduce the amount of swelling and pain.

You have done all the right things so the main thing is to keep it clean and not to perforate the blister as this is helping to keep out bacteria.
I did the same thing about a week ago with some hot oil on the back of a finger. It formed a small blister, so to protect this I covered it with a sterile adhesive film. The burn was about 1cm so when the blister eventually broke after about two days I put on a little Savlon antiseptic cream and let it dry out. Now the skin has regrown with no problems or scar. I expect you will have the same experience.
If it does get infected, or it is a larger non superficial burn then you should get it checked out by a professional ( nurse or Doctor) . The main thing is to avoid any loss of touch or function.

Hope this helps.

Keep the blister dry , put some antibiotic ointment and cover until the blister dries out on its own , it'll take between a week or 10 days. Now, a scar can occur in the place of the burn after it the blister dries out . To prevent that, get soft gel vitamin E capsules from any pharmacy or GNC, poke a capsule and rub the thick vitamine E oil on the scar daily until it you see it disappear. Good Luck!

it depends on the size and depth of the burn having said that if you keep it clean and don't burst any blisters in the long run it may not leave much scarring. If you are worried got to your GP or walk in centre for a check up

Buy an aloe vera plant, keep it on your kitchen windowsill, and anytime you have a burn, scratch, bite - anything - just break off the end of a leaf and rub the gel on the wound, as often as you want. There'll be no scar, and the pain disappears almost at once. The best remedy, honestly. The plant reproduces itself very quickly, so you can pass mini aloe veras on to friends. A very cheap and effective cure.

Probably not but you should NEVER put cream on a burn. It'll go away in a few weeks, allow the blister to burst naturally and keep it clean.

Hi

The blister will burst eventually and won't leave you with a scar unless it has gone deeper then the skin, which to me sounds like it hasn't. If you are that worried about it, and it hasn't burst in a few days, go and see the doctor. He will sort it out for you

I would usually say it won't scar, but I dropped a bit of hot solder on my leg while plumbing a few months ago; and I still have a red mark on the spot. I'm wondering if it will ever go away.

You're right that Christians should be loving towards everyone. Jesus was a people person, and He understood the difficulty in living in a broken world, because He experience it firsthand. That's why He died on the cross. You mentioned that other people have sinned just like homosexuals, and that's true. But while murderers, thieves and adulteres have understood that they did wrong, homosexuals don't want to acknowledge that they've sinned. They are blatantly denying that it is sin. To me, it is boldy defying God. At the same time, God give us free will because He'd rather us decide to love and obey him than to control our minds. So, does that mean we allow people to kill, steal, lie, cheat, and be gay? I love gay people, but I disagree with their lifestyle. I wish I can show them that it is the wrong path, but they are just not tolerant.
