IT can NOT be absorbed through the skin! Even if you had an open wound, it would be hard to get HIV from someone blood dropping on it. Remember that when you have a cut you bleed out so it would be hard for someone elses blood to come in while yours is exiting. Also, to get HIV from someone else's blood, you would pretty much have to suction your cuts together.....thats why it is easy to get it from sharing needles. I think you will be fine.

No, HIV cannot be absorbed through the skin. There needs to be a break in the skin for the virus to enter the body.

As far as I know there is no way to get HIV through your skin. HIV is still a small percentage of the community so it is unlikely that the person even had it. If they do, I would (and it's a good idea anyway) get tested after 3 months. That's the time it takes to show up.

There had to be a mixing of the blood. It can't be absorbed through the skin.

HIV must be passed through bodily fluids, other than saliva, sweat, and tears. Only blood and semen can transmit it, and not easily when exposed to open air. If you are worried, get tested.

It has to be in your system in order for it to spead to you. Breast feeding, sexual intercourse, or DIRECT blood contact, including injection needles, blood transfusions, etc. It cannot be absorbed through skin, it's not transmitted by contact.
(it's not lotion)
