the beard is about 3 weeks old now

it will stop when its in all the way. Its only itching because its tickling with the other hairs and then they touch your face. All men get that at first but it goes away.

If it has not grown enough in three weeks, perhaps you are not meant to grow a beard. There is nothing worse than a shaggy beard. Maybe it is time to realize you are not meant to wear a beard.

Give it another week and it'll stop itching. only itching now cos the hairs are at a lenght that makes them like little pins. They'll soften up after they get a little longer.

Get some aloe vera gel and rub on the beard and skin under the beard, does miracles.
olive oil or babyoil helps too.

Use a toothbrush to comb/brush it seems to help. Other than that you just have to wait a bit longer until the hair begins to soften.
