Lately, I've been having small patches of dry spots on my skin - usually on my arms and under my arms. I've been using moisturizer on it for a few days now, and they still persist.

Any ideas on what it could be and do you have any remedies?

Well I guess to start off I am married and scince the birth of my first child my periods have been off & on irregular. Well anyway about 2-3 weeks ago I started noticing this funny stretchy, discharge and my husband and I have had intercourse several times. Well about 1-2 weeks ago I started having alot of nausa off and on and got sick with a UTI that I can't seem to get rid of. Well I have lost 15/bs during all of this and don't know where because everything still fits the same. And last but not least I crave oranges ....I have never really liked oranges all that much! Please help I need some advice. I would go to my family doctor but I can't right now due to some insurance issues pleas Help???

Or does anyone else get annoyed with the responses in alternative medicine saying 'you need to go to the doc' and/or 'you need to get meds'. People are asking questions in alternative medicine for a reason... perhaps they've tried a doctor and aren't happy with the results or perhaps they don't have medical insurance or perhaps they're just open to alternative medicine because they want to be. I believe that all illnesses come from the mind and our thought patterns, and that it is possible to fix yourself mind, body and soul, without the use of doctors and prescribed meds. On saying that, if someone had serious and urgent symptoms, then of course I would recommend that they consult a doctor. I don't believe in organised religion, so I stay well clear of the religion questions (they're all fighting in there anyway!), so why do people who don't believe in alternative medicine insist on posting answers for the alternative medicine questions?

i am just under 5ft i am 13 and need to lose weight I am hitting over the 7stone mark and exercise all the time whats wrong with me?

I have been using all kinds of topical "anti-itch" creams and nothing is working. i've even tried to change laundry soaps. i dont know what kind of rash it is, but it's tiny little bumps that are itchy, and its spreading. HELP!!

I get a cleaning every 6 months and just changed dentists. The girl who cleaned my teeth asked me to get records from my previous dentist so she sould see them and reccomended the deep cleaning.

I am currently suffering from a mysterious condition. Whenever I try to walk a distance, I get dizzy, weak, intense pressure in my head, and my legs go numb, also have trouble getting my eyes to focus. I have had stress tests done, heart cat scan done, they showed everything was OK. I am currently taking medication for my blood pressure, my blood pressure is almost normal, but my distolic pressure still remains high. I have been to several doctors and they cannot pinpoint what my problem is. They haven't checked anything neurological, I can't get any of them to do that. Anyone got any answers.

and if so, how do you treat the irritation. The Opthomologist said tear replacement drops would help (NO visine or "red out" drops) but both my eyes still hurt. They feel tired and dry. Any other suggestions?

I have visible pores/white heads on my nose and surrounding area. My pores are clogged with dirt/oil. I can literally use tweezers and squeeze out the dirt from my nose. But they become clogged everyday. I have used a few products including nutregena toners, cleansers and mositurizers to remove them. But have had no luck.

My friend just recently got contacts(regular ones not colored) after wearing glasses for years. Her eyes have always been brown and now they are green and brown. How did this happen? She did not get colored contacts and she is confused! I there any way that an adults(she's 23) eye color can change by itself?

I just started a new Whey Protein powder. I mixed my morning batch up and brought in in to work after an hour to an hour and a half the last bit tasted bad... I drank it last night and it was fine but it was over a much shorter time... Can you mix and leave in the fridge over night?

Hi,
I went to the doctor last week and he prescribed me augmentin for a problem I was having. It seems my sinuses were really clogged and I have bad post nasal drip. But because of this, mucus was going into my throat clogging it up and making me feel like I was going to faint and pass out. This usually happens a lot during the afternoon at work. This was before the medication and it continues after the medication. Doctor said it was an asthmatic reaction but it doesn't seem like asthma as I can breathe find. Any insight as to what else it could be? Thanks!
