Why the occurrence of de Musset's sign?

de Musset's sign is the jerking movement of head and neck synchronised with the hear beat that happens in Aortic Insufficiency (AI)..How does this problem control the muscles of head and neck and causing to jerk?

i know that all Physical signs of aortic insufficiency are related to the high pulse pressure and the rapid decrease in blood pressure during diastole due to the AI
and by th way de Musset's sign is head nodding in time with the heart beat not jerking ...it is just the movement with heart rate
