Not necessarily. Are you sure they are pimples? If in doubt, see your doctor and get yourself tested for HIV/AIDS and STDs.

This doesn't necessarily mean you have a STD. The only way to know for sure is to go to the doctor. I had a scare with my new partner about a week ago and did research on the internet and what I found was that most likely the pimple you see is Folliculitis. It's where the pore gets clogged and a red bump or "pimple" appears. Now, i'm not a doctor by any means but if that doesn't calm you then go on the internet and google "red bumps pubic area" and there is all sorts of **** for you to look at. Some even have pictures for you to see. Good Luck!

No. It could simply be ingrown hairs or dirty pores. You have to realize these areas are always enclosed under our clothing. These areas have a tendency to become sweaty and accumilate dirt. When the skin becomes sweaty the pores open thus allowing dirt to enter. Therefore, they could simply be dirty pores.
The other issue could be ingrown hairs, which cause minor irritation and infection and they appear as pimples. It's a similar issue with the dirt and sweat. The hairs become twisted, pulled and dirty, which also have open pores at the follicle. The results of both are the same...pimples.
If you are sexually active, especially if you've had more than one partner, I would still suggest an STD test and I suggest you keep it to one person you can trust and is also tested.

it could mean that you have an ingrown hair, do the pimples, itch, does it itch or burn when you urinate? Those are signs of a possible STD. some pimples are normal in that area.
I have had ingrown hairs before, they look like pimples too. They hurt a lot sometimes.

Has this area recently been shaved? If so it could be that they are in grown hairs.
As for an STD, if the answer the above is no, it can't hurt see a doctor.
