If a girl's body weight goes down below a certain percentage the menses will stop. Does she have an eating disorder? If so, this could be the reason. If she has just lost alot of weight lately, this could also be the problem. Anytime you are under alot of stress, change your work out program, maybe doing to much, this will have an effect on your period. If it is none of the above, I would definitely see my doctor.

I agree with mlgable. She should see her doctor. I've known a few women who have irregular cycles, and most of the time it was for different reasons.

So, even though it may be nothing serious - it also COULD be something that requires attention. When it comes to health issues, getting professional advice & input is the right thing to do.
Just go call and make an appointment. You'll feel better for it.

Although it could be nothing she needs to go in and see the doc to be sure there is nothing going on. If she took 3 pregnancy tests already I would assume she is sexually active so see the doc is always the best thing to do.

Periods can stop when there are other problems. If she is athletic they can stop due to being too active. She should see a doctor.
