have you discussed your desire to lose weight with your doctor? if not, you should. B/c there could be underlying issues that are causing you to not be able to lose the weight, thyroid, metabolism, etc. Also, are you being realistic about your ultimate weight goals. Don't just look at the numbers, consider body type, bone structure, etc. Lastly, be consistent. That's usually the one thing that causes most ppl problems. Set realistic work out routines so that you can stick with it, don't eliminate entire food groups b/c that's unrealistic.. Everything in modertion. And rem. losing weight takes time. Keep your chin up!

You should be on a well balanced diet fruits and vegetables for breakfast, lunch and dinner while eating small snacks in bewteen those meal. The key points to losing weight is obviously burning more calories than you consume. Kepping your fat intake low and avoiding saturated fats while eating plenty of your omega 3 is your best option. Complex carbs should be consumed in moderation while protein should be about 50% of your intake. Of course, much of this can vary depending on your overall activity throughout the day.
Along with a balanced diet should be cardio exercise which consist of a minimum of 30 minutes at 60 to 80% of your heart rate level at LEAST 3 days a week. The more days added, the longer you exercise and the higher the intensity, the better the results. I suggest you add weight lifting along with the cardio workouts. If you are a girl, the answer is NO...you will not build muscles like a man. Adding muscle mass to your frame will not only help you lose weight, you will obviosuly gain strength. THe added muscles provide a tremendous enhancement wih the assimilation of fat. In other words, the more you have, the more fat you burn.
Losing weight can be a frustrating ordeal and it seems like forever. But you have to stay motivated and you will eventually see and feel the results. Do not use the scale as your guide. It is best to use a tape measure and measure yourself. You have to realize as you exercise, you gain muscle mass even if you are not weight training. This added muscle mass povdes weight. Therefore, the scale is very misleading. It's also best to use the tape measure since you see yourself everyday. This means you do not notice changes in your body as easily as someone who hasn't seen you in awhile. Therefore, you can determine your body change with the tape measure.
The safest amount of weight to lose is 2.5 to 3 pounds (.14675 stones) a week. Losing weight faster will only increase your chance of gaining it back later.
If after a few months of this hard work and you do not notice results, I suggest you seek out a doctor to rule out any genetic problems. In some unfortunate cases, some people are just not able to lose much weight due to genetic passings. This is the time to seek advice from your doctor.

1) Some people beleive eating healthy means eating spaghetti and a little bitof broccoli on top. However, broccoli is good for you, while spaghetti is defenatly not. Spaghetti has calories, so does all kinds of berads, noddles, cakes, cokkies and macaronie's. Avoid those food! If you want to go on a REAL diet, eat only vegetables and fruits. ONLY. Apparantly, it seems like you have a week metabalism and every saturated fat and calorie adds up. while you are on this diet, you must excersie for 1 hour straigh, at least each and every day. you wont lose 100 calories if you slowly walk around or do sit ups and pushups. What will make you loose weight is sweat. You have to run every day like your lungs are about to burst. Catch your breath, then run again. You have to REALLY sweat if you want to loose any weight. Rowing machines build muscle, but they dont lsoe fat. Take this advise, as I am a doctor and have recently proved this method to work on several of my clients. Good Luck!

Hi Lauren!
you are so young to be worried about your weight! If you are really worried and know that you are overweight I would suggest you go see your family doctor and he/she could refer you to a nutrition expert. Remember you are probably going through puberty and a lot of things change then, including your weight. Stay active and try to eat balanced meals. Good Luck! Hope this helped!

Have you ever had your thyroid checked? How much do you weight? My suggestion is since you seem to possibly eat healthy and exercise on a normal basis is to make an appointment with your doctor and discuss this with him and have your thyroid checked.

it's the food intake, even you exhaust your self so much then you always eat like in a buffet then it's the problem, plus muscles are heavier than fat,

what you eat is just as important as how much. so yes you may be eating healthy food but are you eating healthy amounts? try smaller portions and less snacks.
