My bf is a big dude. He is really tall, like 6'7", and weights 280lbs. I want him to be healthy and obviously look good too! He breathes really loudly, sweats a lot, and his back hurts all the time. It's not healthy for him to be this big. Although he is really tall, his bones are fairly small and he has a small frame. Before we started dating, he was an athlete, really thin and in excellent shape. He use to play basketball and surf all the time, but now he can't. I like him regardless, but I just want him to be healthy and to be able to do some fun physical activities with him like go bike riding. How do I tell him, without hurting his feelings, that he needs to lose weight. I want to help him and support him as much as I can. What should I do?

ah yes, there are lots of them here in the US, but here is my complaint! I am not one to judge anyone by there waist size, but there does come a point where you have to draw the line, literally!! This morning while getting on the bus two big bottom women sat next to me, one on my right and one on the left. Well, the one took up 1 1/2 seats and the other, yes believe it or not took up 1 1/2 seats also. So where does that leave me, yes, gasping for oxygen. I mean like one of them apologized which was nice and all, but I'm thinking if your butt doesn't fit in the seat girl, maybe you could stand, cause I don't enjoy being under two BB women on my way to work, it just isn't how I like to start my day. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think its just common courtesy not to sit on top of people. What should you say to these people who do this??? Am I bad?

I had my gall bladder removed a few years ago and since then after mostly every meal I have to go. I asked the doctor and he says it depends on the person. That did not seem to answer my question. I eat pretty healthy, I exercise occasionally, bike riding with the kids, walk the dogs, walk the board walk, ride an exercise bike, walk the mall. I am not a couch potato so I am kind of confused.

She has been complaining recently, once in a while, that the light hurts her eyes, and that her head aches. The last couple days she has had tummy pain and a little diarrhea. Last night she drank her whole bottle of water that we send her to bed with each night-she usually just takes sips and has plenty left over in the morning. Today she has been very lethargic, tired and weak, not wanting to get up and play, barely able to climb the stairs, and refusing her favorite cookies. I have called the doctor and left a message, but I hate waiting for them to call back, so I thought I would put the question out to you and see if any one has any ideas. THANKS!

Really would like to lose weight - top half is smaller than the bottom, which is usually a 14 in jeans and sometimes a 12 in a skirt. What do you all think?
