Menicillin Resistand Staph. Aur. (staph infection) seems to be going around right now. Does anyone know of a good spray or even a solution (bleach and water) that can be used to help reduce the spread of the bacteria on football (American) equipment. The highest incidences of this infection occurrs in close proximity/contact sports. Just looking for something that I can hit everybody's equipment with after practice and games.

She was diagnosed with a siatic nerve about a year ago. Was going through treatment, when she decided to see a different doctor. The new one said it isn't a siatic nerve, as the pain starts in her inner foot, and travels up her calf ( apparantly a siatic nerve starts in the hip and goes down).

At first, the pain happened 2 or 3 times a week, for maybe 5 minutes each time. Now it's every day, 2 or 3 times a day, for 15 minutes each time. It has put her in tears.
She has recently had blood tests done, and is waiting for her results.

I thought I'd try YA, and see if this "condition" sounds familliar to anyone else.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, as doc's haven't been able to tell her much about this.

Thanks Again...

I have PTSD and chronic major depression. I have no diagnosed medical problems. Last night I was watching television when suddenly I felt what I can only describe as a sudden rush of blood into my brain, followed by a wooshing sound in my ears, and my eyes got incredibly heavy and I could not keep them open. I did not feel sleepy or like I was passing out. I was fully aware of what was happening. This lasted for about 30 seconds the first time. About five minutes later, it happened again. This time it lasted closer to a minute.

I have no idea what this could be related to. Any ideas?

I have recently started jogging in the afternoon. Today was the third day and I felt uncomfortable. I took little snacks (one vada, sambar, tea) and then took a little water. after 10 minutes I warmed up, stretched and went for jogging. On the first and the second days I completed jogging a big playground thrice. Today I was determined to complete four rounds but after the third round I felt uneasiness and pain in the left upper part of my stomach(just below the ribs). This never happened during the last two days. After coming back home I was lying down on the floor profusely sweating and even had a little urge to vomit. After some time the problem went away. Can anyone explain why this happened? Should one jog in empty stomach(after drinking some water) to avoid this? After jogging when one feels completely exhausted what is the best way to recover? Should I increase my food intake because of jogging?

I am a very positive person, but lately I have had to work with so many negative people that I have struggled to maintain my usual sunny attitude. Half the time I feel like a bird with broken wings. Do you have any strategies that help you cope with negative energies?

I'm having Panic Attacks almost every night for years, but recently had a very awful one, I had to go to an Emergency Room, It lasted a long time, much more than ever, and the doctor told me I have a very high level of Stress and that I suffered a Panic Attack caused by a severe anxiety. Another thing the doctor told me is that I have to change my lifestyle, because my lifestyle is stressful. I've been suffering of breathing problems, like bronquitis and all the doctors I've visited have told me this problem is related to stress.
Is this situation dangerous for me? Do I have to be worried about my condition?

I am pregnant with baby #5. My OB says there is a lot of scar tissue. ( All babies were via C-section) I was going to have a tubal but he says I may have complications so it would be better to have a hysteretomy and leave my ovaries. My mom says it will screw me all up and I will go crazy because I am not even 30 yet. My doc says that I will have no complications if they leave the ovaries. Has anyone done this?

at really wierd times and places. For instance, I spit in the sink when I'm doing dishes, in the washer when I'm washing clothes, sometimes I spit in the trash, the elevator, I'll open my car door at stoplights and spit. Yesterday I spit in Wal-mart in one of their fake plants and then at McDonalds in a happy meal box . The worst of it though is I spit at church this last Sunday when no one was looking. What happens when I have the uncontrollable urge to spit in someones face? Please help.......
