Alot of people say "like", "do you know what I mean?", "at the end of the day...".

Most people don't know they do it, until someone points it out. It can be quite embarrassing when you do realise you do it!

The main 2 expressions which get on my nerves are You know what I mean (or even worse: "you know" every other word) and "at the end of the day".
I don't really mind being called "mate", or "pal", or "love". I think that's quite affectionate really.

I hate it when certain Americans say "dude" all the time and when people say "bling" and when white people speak as if they are black. Like Aisleyne from Big Brother 2006

I use the word "like" ALOT. I am a pretty intelligent person and I am not an airhead, but I used to get teased about it alot.

my friend calls everyone "pal". When asked why the reply was that he couldn't remember anyones name and it became habit.
