It is not a matter of eating less, but eating right. There are certain foods that need to be consumed less, for example, white bread, any cakes, candies, pizza, potatoes. All these are good in small quantities, but bad in large quantities. What I mean by small, is as a reward once a month have some pizza, not the whole or half, just 3 slices. Take a fiber supplement every day, this will help to expel excess waste in your colon. Consume allot of vegetables, they contain the soluble fiber that cleans your arteries of plaque, that clogs them. Fruits though full of carbs, these are complex carbs and take time to break down unlike simple carbs in cakes and candies. Fruit also has lots of fiber. run 5 times a week, I am 51 with Asthma and arthritis and still run
over 1.5 miles, this helped lower my bad cholesterol from 190 to 150 in a year. Eat right, exercise and rest are key to weight loss.

I have lost 33.5 pounds since July 15, 2006 by using Stack Body Tune Up. I, too, am going to lose 50 pounds. I am shooting for 198. Once the weight starts to come off and your energy picks up, then you can ease into walking. That is what I have done.
