If she takes the bottle. Fill it with water and a few ice-cubes. This might help sooth some discomfort. If not a bottle try some of the teething rings that can be frozen and rubbed on the gums. This will also help her learn she can relieve the pain herself (with your help of course.) My girls 10 and 13 now, enjoyed a frozen wash cloth to chew. Just make sure to let the cloth or teething ring set out for a few minutes before giving it to her. Like the old saying goes "Never stick your tongue on the flag pole in the winter" Good Luck..

When my children were teething we made jerky out off the front shoulder off venison and left the silver skin on. It was tougher than wang leather but the kids loved it. Find the toughest jerky you can let it get dried out keep it in the freezer let the baby chew away if it starts getting soft trim with scissors refreeze.

Try not to use the medicine so much my kids doctor said it's better to use the teething toy or even a towel with ice in it. They even have teething toys now that vibrate my kids seemed to like those to. You can find the vibrating toys at like Target, Babies`R Us and even like Wal~Mart

There are toys in the baby section of grocery stores that you can freeze and then give to your child to gnaw on. The ice soothes the gums.

The teething tablets work great for my daughter when she was teething. They dissolve very quickly and do not over numb their little mouths like the orajel does.
