I take my multivitamin every day, which helps a lot but I still get sick. Is there an additional vitamin I should/could be taking???

I eat well, I exercise 2-3 days a week, and I'm a very clean person (I wash my hands at least every hour, I always have). I love fruit and veggies!! I keep telling my doctor there is something wrong with me.

Don't put your hands near your face except just after you wash them. (don't rub eyes, wipe nose, bite nails or cuticles) Use hand sanitizers.

You may be takin multi vits but i think they are going unabsorbed. You should make it a point to ask your doc what kind of foods you should take before and after so that the vits are taken better by your body. Also, drink lots of water.
I also suggest that you stop multivitamins since you have indicated that you eat well and also exercise. Who knows, maybe the multivitamins are making you sick!

Vitamins do NOT keep you from getting sick. You are getting a lot of germs. That can be controlled by washing your hands (for at least 20 seconds) and not touching your nose, eyes or mouth with your hands.

If you're taking a cheap multi from say, wal-mart then you're crapping most of the vitamin out. Try a better quality multi. If you still get sick a lot, then you just get sick a lot.

You can get vitamines though food, so it's more important to take minerals.
You can also boost up with vitamine C.
Don't forget to eat properly and also, to exercise!
By exercising you get the blood flowing, heart pumping - the whole body "wakes up" and works better!

you may want to be more conscious of your hygiene. Most viruses (colds, flu, sinus infections etc) are passed hand to mouth. The more your wash your hands, the less likely you are to get infections. Carry hand sanitizer with you and wash at least every two hours.

if you are taking a multivitamin in place of eating..................this is why. You also have a weak immune system. You need to get your nutrients from fresh vegetables. Dont depend on a vitamin.
