My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago. She had been undergoing chemo until last may. She mainly suffered from endema in one of her legs and loss of appetite. The loss of appetite was mostly early on, but she was able to get around on her own until a month ago.

The doctor switched her to injections in July and things seem to have taken a turn for the worse. She is very fatigued, the endema has now spread to her stomach, she can't walk anymore and the list goes on.

She didn't want to go back into the hospital, so my sister suggested to my mom that they call the ambulance, so that my mom could be taken to another hospital. My mom was very open to the idea, but she did not want to go back to the hospital where she's been treated for the last 3 years. The ambulance took her to a different hospital, but when the hospital called the hospital she had been going to, her doc had her transferred.

I'm driving 2 hours to see her tomorrow. What should I ask her doc?

Its very strange. One of my nipple buds is swollen, tender, and sore. It sticks out above the rest of my nipple and it is enlarged. If anything rubs against it, it hurts. I put a bandaid over it to protect it. Its kind of like getting a sore on you taste buds on your tongue. Thats the best analogy. I have experienced this once before, and it went away. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Should I go to the doctor? What should I do to make it less painful? What can I do to prevent this?

My toe on my left foor, the one right next to the big toe keeps going numb, it does this with or without shoes. There is no pain only numbness and only in that one toe.

So I have been on a diet/excercise thing for about five months and have lost about 15 pounds but I think i need to mix things up to get re-motivated and to keep lossing weight since I have not lost anymore weight in the last month or so. My ankle has been bugging me since about the beginning of July. I am sorta big for my age so I put alot of stress on my joints, and I am active. So yea... Anywho I cant really turn it to the left or right with out it shooting pain through my foot/ankle on the inside of my foot(the right side of my left foot)

I put an ace bandage around it but it still hurts, and i need to know what type a bandage i should use. or if yall know a good brand that makes braces that would fit my fat ankle and such

I dont know if i should go to a doctor or not its not swollen or anything..it just hurts!

This is happened to me on atleast five other different occasions. All of the sudden I have mysterious bumps on my body....just 10 minutes ago they were on the left side of my leg( around the hip area) and they itched. Now they dont itch, and if this is anything like all the other times...then it will dissapear. What are these bumps that appear on my body then just dissapear? Please help me! My friend just IMed me that she was going to kill herself. I was trying to convincem her not to from 5-7 pm. Then in the middle of the converstion she just signed off. I called her house but no one anwsered. I dont want to call the police cause suicide's illegal in the US. and if she got arested she would probably try again.
I think this is partial my falt becasue last may i did the same- minus the sign off. i ended up going to ST. Vincents after swalowing 12 tynols. the docter had said i almost did it. I ended up going to a phyc ward for 1 week, and the an outpaitent program for 2 months.
But back to subject, what should i do?

I forgot to take my meds (75mg. Effexor & 100mg Topamax) yesterday and now I feel dizzy and sick and just crappy. I took my meds this morning, but how long do I have to wait before I feel better?

And is there something I can do so I don't keep forgetting to take my meds?

About a month ago I started getting partial numbness in my fingers which also feels like needles stabbing and jolts of pain shooting through them, my doctor suggested those wrist splints for carpel tunnel but they cost 26 dollars a peice and I work in the infant room at a child care center and they are to hard to work with, if anyone has experienced this and has a solution I would be so so grateful!

i had a really bad cold, and it was 5 days ago, and my nose is stuffed up and runny, and my throaght still has mucus in it so i cant talk with out couphing, and for some reason i cant hear as well for short periods of time!

I moved to Las Vegas with a room mate almost 3 years ago. I love it here and most of the time can say I love my job. But I don't make a lot of money for a place like this and need some help. I think my room mate is going to move out and if he does I am going to be living on the street. He makes a lot more money then I do and I don't know if I can make it without him at this point. I do have a lot of things that I can sell to make some money...having an apartment sale or something like that. And I am getting my notary which can help to bring in money too. I am just so worried right now and not sure what to do. I know how to get the bills paid...at least how things are right now...but what do I do if he leaves? I will have to vacant my apartment...hopefully they will work with me on that one and let me move into a 1 bedroom....but what are the best ways to save money?
