I have been wondering what this is!! I have had this black mucus looking stuff coming out of my vagina and i was wondering if yall know what it might is??? i am only 12 years old!!

yep, sounds like your first period...it might even just happen for a day and then not again for six months...could be regular from the gate...but usually when someone starts that young its awhile before you are regular. The exceptional dark color is because the blood is very old...and only now is coming out. It will begin to lighten as time goes on.

Are u menstruating yet. If not it could be the beginning of the onset of your monthly cycle and is just spotting. Are you absolutely sure it is black or is a brownish color like dried blood. If it is black there is something very very bad going on inside, but seeing you are not complaining of pain, i doubt that it is black just normal blood.

Sounds like your starting your period. The color might not be black but a real deep brown.. this is old blood, nothing to worry about. i would definitely talk to your mom about it and she will calm your worries!!!!

sounds like your first period to me, make sure to wear a panty liner at all times and always carry a pad just incase it gets worse, it should start turning to a redder color if it doesn't you might want to set up an appointment at your family doctor or even an ob/gyn and she/he could help you better understand want it is.

umm you could be starting your period. If you have any questions go ask your mom and she should be able to take you to a nurse to determine if that is defianatly what it is.
