I forgot to take my meds (75mg. Effexor & 100mg Topamax) yesterday and now I feel dizzy and sick and just crappy. I took my meds this morning, but how long do I have to wait before I feel better?

And is there something I can do so I don't keep forgetting to take my meds?

get one of those pill containers that has a compartment for each day of the week... keep it next to your toothbrush in the bathroom so u remember

and if that doesn't work... keep a rubberband on your wrist and keep snapping it everytime you forget, this will change any forgetful habit in a short time

as for the feeling of crappy... if you only missed one dose... usually 24 hours and after a good nights sleep so that all the chemicals have a chance to readjust back to their normal level

write down when to take it. as your body adjusts, you'll feel less crappy. drink lots of water and try herbal laxatives to relieve any chemicals hidden in your liver. tell your doc about the side effects.

not sure when the feeling will go away, but keep them by the phone so you will see them everyday. or even in the fridge next to the drink you take them with...
