My mom has paranoid schizophrenia. She had a relapse end of last year and recovered a few months ago but fell into depression instead. She has been seeing the psychiatrist and took some medicine../but after quite a while the psychiatrist said she's only recovered about 10-20%. So, he talked to my father about a new medicine that's according to him very effective but has a side effect that is it will weaken the body's immune system..something about affecting the bone marrow which is important to produce red blood cells and protect the body against diseases. My father told her about the medicine but hasn't told her about the side effects.We're deciding whether to let her take this new medicine which has quite a troublesome side effect. Any opinions? Does anyone know about abnormal saccedes of the eyes?

I was recently discovered to have small white spots in my brain. I have been very dizzy and lose my balance, so I was tested for vertigo. The results came back as abnormal saccedes. The Dr. doesn't believe I have MS, as he said I am too old to just start getting symptoms (49 yrs old). I have a titanium plate in C5/C6, and excruciating arm pain and loss of use of arm, along with numbness in all areas of my body. My primary doc said it's menopause, but I know that's not it. He just doesn't know what's wrong. Anyone out there have any ideas what's going on with me? I have been to a chiropractor, masseuse,neurologist, ENT,pain, and cardiologist drs. All the tests point to something neurological or brain disorder. I am going to see my orthopedic surgeon after a few more tests. Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thank you.

When I run for long distance , which I do regularly because I am in cross country, me legs go numb usualy my left leg. Now I do have scoliosis and I think that this may be the root of this? Any body have any ideas or theory's on why this happens to me? I think it could be serious.

My period wasnt due for another 7 days but i started having cramps on friday night, i had very protected sex with my boyfriend ( condom that did not break, and the sponge, and he withdrew) on saturday and then on sunday i got my period.... i thought but it was gone after a few hours. Is it done by hand or only by the shaps container...also, once the needle is released from the tube holder, can it be reused again???

Hi, I have "SLE" I was diagnosed with this last year. I was also on crutches with very bad arthritis and every thingelse that comes with the ailment. I strongly believe my SLE is not that at all. Its where I have been on all sorts of drugs that the proffessional doctors and hospital consultants gave to me that were and still are responsible. My memory was getting awful, everybone in my body
cruched when I moved and the pain was unbearable. The consultants told me that the waiting list was 8 months. So I was on the pain killers and anti-inflamits for a long period of time. B y the time my operation date came, I was on crutches anyway. I got stomach ulcers, poor circulation, loss of appetite, constantly grumbling about the excrusiating pain that I had to put up with. Six momths down the line on medication. My prescribed drugs were.
Tramadol,dothiepin,diclofanac,omezapole. I lost 3 stone. and was originally 9 stone. I stopped taking the medication, I am back to my weight.

i had taken emergency contraceptive pills a week earlier since then my nipples have become hard and pain..?
i havent experienced this is any periods earlier so its definite its because of the pills...i also took painkillers but didnt work do u have any other solution?
i had seen a family doctor but the pain killers havent helped...actually i took the emergency contraceptive pill because i was tense ...i could have been that i wasnt pregnant at all in the first place....can this side effect be reversible?
