my husband decided yesterday to quit smoking. i started today. its sooo hard!! ive got a bad headache and the shakes. any suggestions to help me get through it?

Am asking for my neighbor, who has no access to a computer. He has to go in for an operation for ulcerative colitis, and he asked me to ask you all if there is any new medicine for this condition, as he doesn't want to have the operation. (Which is an extremely radical operation....)

I need to drop about 40 lbs I'm 6'3 249lbs. Basically everyday Im eating the following
Breakfast 6AM- Banana (is about 80 calories i think)
Lunch 11PM --- Lean Cuisine (about 350 Calories)
Dinner 5PM ---- Lean Cuisine (about 350 Calories)
Snack 7PM ----- Usually an Apple or Banana/Peanuts or Peanut Butter

Is this a healthy amount of food to be eating?
I usually walk/jog 2 miles every morning and lift weights for about 20 minutes/ do small amount of push ups situps everyday.
So far I have lost about 5 lbs in 6 days.

I'm 16 and only just grew armpit hair this summer. I still don't have much. I show no sign of any facial hair. My voice STILL cracks all the frigging time. I haven't gained any muscle (other than the litte that I have gained by working out). I feel like I have been waiting and waiting for puberty to speed up so that I can be as developed as the other guys my age. I basically have the body of a 13 year-old! It's really getting me down. Can anyone relate or give me advice on how to speed things up?

I was just on the Nuva ring for my first month, then i took it out as scheduled but no period, so on the day i was supposed to put the new one in, i took a pregnancy test--negative. and went ahead and put the new one in. well like two hours later i kinda started my period but not really.. u know what i mean and then it stopped for a day adn then came back and its been really light but bad bad bad cramps and i finally had to wear a tampon with the nuva ring and i take it out to clean it daily. i know this is gross but its been like 4-5 days now i think and it just doesn't seem right. its not even like a REAL period. its like a half-*** period but still enough to annoy me and keep me from having sex so i'm really sick of it. QUESTION: IS ANY OF THIS NORMAL FOR NUVA RING USERS?

Its on my left hand on my pinky only

I can move my pinky like normal

it can feel stuff but still has that little numb feeling in it

What can i do to treat this w/o going to the doctors or having surgery because im freakin scared to get surgery.

What can i do to treat it and what can i do to prevent it?

does this mean i cant workout or do normal stuff anymore?

I'm not afraid of any other insect or animals. I dont mind rats or snakes and I've even swam with sharks on holiday.Arachnaphobia is really common but why? My friends and I have decided to raise money for Breast cancer research. National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is in October. We are High School Students and are dedicated to this plan. We have decidedto make ribbons with magnets on the back that all students can stick on the outside of their lockers all throughout the month of october. Also we are thinking of asking our school principal if we could do a "think pink" day where everyone pays 1 dollar to wear any peice of pink clothing. I've never bled after sex before but I have been on the pill for a couple of years now. Do you believe that masterbating is wrong. Why or why not...

Why would god not want you to ejaculate? All through my sunday school then high school years my parents and catholic teachers have always said that ejaculating was wrong and a sin, with or without porn.

I do believe it is wrong if you are in a committed relationship and think of someone else.

Now let me tell you why i believe it is all right.


1. you never have to worry about a wet dream (when you are already ejaculating without your freewill)

2. You are releasing your sexual thoughts without having sex, raping people, or worrying about getting aids and other STDS. And please don't give me that speech about how masterbating eventually leads you to raping people/and or animals because i know MANY "HOLY" christians that have raped people. cough*preists** including one at my old church.

3. It's not hurting anyone.

4. It's Healthy and increases your stamina
