My husband is in the military, and he's currently in training a few states away. I'm supposed to see him this upcoming weekend, and I just got my period!!! ICK!!! I need to know how I can get rid of it by this weekend so that my husband and I can, uhm, reunite properly...lol. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's no way you could make your period end sooner, sorry to say. If you had been on Hormonal Birth Control you could have tried to skip it. There are options though!! If having sex on your period doesn't completely squick you out, go for it! It won't make you sick, hurt anyone or anything. Sounds like you will be toward the end of it anyways, so you shouldn't be bleeding heavily. Lay down a towel, and make sure to use lube since your natural lubrication won't be there and blood really *isn't* a good lube.
If you think your flow will still be too heavy, try this thing I linked below. It's called an Instead cup and catches your flow inside you before it gets down too low. Sits up inside behind your pubic bone. He shouldn't be able to feel it and it shouldn't leak so virtually mess free sex. Or you can just do it in the shower. Lube lube lube again though, non water based.

If you take birth control I've heard you can stop your period by starting a new pack and skipping the sugar pills (the last week of pills). When you start the new pack, you'll begin with the first week's set of pills which has the most estrogen and it should make your period stop. But, if you don't take the pill or cannot try this, just have sex while on your period. It isn't that bad... just a little more slippery and you'll definitely want to put a towel down for easy clean up.

There is no way to get rid of it. You can have sex on your period. Its not like its going to be a huge mess. 99% of the time you don't get ANY bloody anywhere. Just put a towel underneath just incase.
Also, if you are clean down there *Such as washing and what not* You can even recive oral while on your period. Unless your flow is extremly heavy that day. Other then that, im sorry lovely but there is no way to make it shorter

try masturbating, be sure you have an orgasm. because orgasm makes contractions, it would be likely to have much shorter period because more contractions means thet more blood should come out, thus shortening the lenght of our period. well, anyway, you can still have sex while on your period, do it in the shower...so there's no mess...it just go down the drain...well it maybe fun for a new experience. good luck!

I know that this is gross and all....but you can Technically still have sex when you are on your period...It is supposed to go away while your doing it so no mess...but that is just what i heard. MY gyn told me...I have never tried it though

Do it in the shower. Exciting and nothing gets stained, basically. Can't really shorten it.
