I just bought some brown sugar and I was curious to know if anyone out there knows how to keep it from drying out. I plan to use about half of it within the week, so that will be fine, but in the past I have had trouble keeping the remainder moist.

Thanks in advance

Me and my girlfriend are renting some movies tonight and want to dine in. We want to make some pasta but neither of us don't really know how to make a good pasta sauce. We usually just buy the sauce that comes in a jar but were(I'm) tired of that. We tried to look up some recipes online but they were way to complicated and time consuming. We want to make a gralicy or a white wine sauce. We want something that is fast, easy, simple, and tasty. I also dont want to go out and buy anything. Let's save the extremely exotic seasonings for another night. Just want something simple. Any suggestions?
BTW, i have shrimp, chicken, and tilapia.

I love to bake and cook. But I never seperate my wet and dry ingredients. I mean.. they all go together at one point. Why do the directions ask you to mix them seperatly? Does it change the way it tastes?

Thanks =]

Is it supposed to act as filler or does it have another purpose? I'm curious because I have a tried and true meatloaf recipe that doesn't call for any bread crumbs or crackers and it tastes just like a traditional meatloaf (some people have said it's better) and makes the same amount of food.
