I was making chocolate chip cookies and didn't pay attention and put salt instead of sugar. I'm at the end of the whole baking. I already added the chocolate chips and want to know if I can fix them or just throw the dough away?

I like freshly made warm potato salad so can I reheat leftover potato salad without getting sick? What about other things made with mayonaise or sour cream like hot artichoke/spinach dip etc.? Why wouldn't it spoil under heat?

This question is for those who do Microwave Cooking. My mother is "old school" and has always used a conventional oven. (I don't begrudge her). Recently she bought a trailer that came with a brand-new microwave oven. Now, she wants to do more cooking with it. You know how hard Moms are to shop for at Christmas (because they have everything already) so I thought I would add this to some other things I'm getting her. (She does not use the internet so it has to be a real book)!
Can you please recommend me the title, author and a brief reason why you think it was good/helpful for you. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!:)

I am cooking a pepper crusted fillet mignon. I am also cooking a portobello mushrooms diced in with onions, bacon, garlic, and a little wine with sweet pear slices. (self proclaimed chef here) I love the flavor of this topping for the steak. I usually use the excess juices to fry up some asparagus to add with the steak. Problem is i am cooking for some friends tonight who dont like asparagus. I need a side dish maybe a spiced corn or something like that. I want a good recipe not betty crocker or red cookbook recipe. The best recipe possible for this dish. Please help...

I have frozen beef bones from an organic farmer that I would like to make beef stock from. I know how to make the stock but don't know if I must thaw the bones before I roast them. I would like to cook them straight from the freezer but don't know if that would be detrimental.
