Ok so to celebrate the arrival of our new baby girl , my husband and I are having a little dinner party for close friends. I am fixing spaghetti b/c 1.0 it is simple to make 2.) all my friends love my recipe. So my problem is this when I fix it for just my husband , son and myself I never fix any sides well garlic bread of course. But I'm going to have about 10 people here seeing our new baby girl and spaghetti and garlic bread just doesn't seem like enough to fix. Any suggestions on what esle to fix with it?

Congratulations on the new baby girl.
The garlic bread and salad are the perfect accompaniments to your spaghetti dinner.
If you need more you might consider doing an antipasta plate before the meal as an appetizer.
Nothing more is needed unless you are considering dessert. In which case I would opt for a fruit sorbet and amaretti cookies.
good luck.

salad with italian dressing
you can serve soup just before dinner... maybe like an italian wedding soup or a minestrone.
That would probably be enough especially if you have meat sauce or meatballs. If you don't have either of those you could do breaded chicken with cheese melted over it... like chicken parmesan.
I really don't think you need anything more than bread and salad though. Spaghetti is pretty mush a meal by itself.

Steamed broccoli and a tossed salad are 2 sides that go well with spaghetti and garlic bread. Actually, green beans are good with it also. I like the color of a green vegetable with the "red and white" of pasta. Fresh grated parmesan should also be available for your guests. Something as simple as raspberry sherbet would be nice for dessert.
Congrats on your new baby girl!

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aOgP3
The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true
