Chocolate milk shake requires syrup, Nestle Quik or some other form of ready-made chocolate (cocoa doesn't work.) I can still tell you how to make one hell of a milkshake from the stuff you've got.

You need:

vanilla ice cream
milk
oreos, crushed
sugar

Start with a ratio of 2:1 ice cream to milk. Stir them together (an emulsion blender or a regular blender are best). It's going to be really hard at first. Use a big plastic cup to make it easier. When it's mixed, add the oreos. Add more milk or ice cream or some sugar until it tastes good.

Make the Cocoa into syrup:
1 1/2 cups water
3 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups Dutch-processed cocoa powder
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
In a small pot, bring water and sugar to a boil and whisk in cocoa, vanilla, salt, and corn syrup.
Whisk until all of the solids have dissolved.
Reduce sauce until slightly thickened.
Strain and cool to room temperature.
Pour into a squeeze bottle.
Squeeze into cold milk and stir for delicious chocolate milk or serve on your favorite ice cream.

to make a milk shake add syrup to icecream with 1/2 cup milk and put in a blender - cover and mix - tada milk shake!

If you have some Nestle's Quick you can add that...works pretty good.....or....mix some cocoa and sugar together to your taste and use that....add alittle vanilla ice cream to this or add some milk if you have some to help with the mixing together of the cocoa and sugar (this will work also in making hot chocolate too)
Then do you milkshake....milkshakes consists of Vanilla Ice Cream, and milk...and whatever you want to add to that...you be the judge....
Hope you enjoy your Milkshake!!

Try a scoop of vanilla ice cream and play around with the cocoa and sugar until you get the right sugar cocoa ratio.I would add a tablespoon of cocoa first. Then add sugar as needed. You`ll want to add some milk until it`s the right consistency for you.
