Me and my girlfriend are renting some movies tonight and want to dine in. We want to make some pasta but neither of us don't really know how to make a good pasta sauce. We usually just buy the sauce that comes in a jar but were(I'm) tired of that. We tried to look up some recipes online but they were way to complicated and time consuming. We want to make a gralicy or a white wine sauce. We want something that is fast, easy, simple, and tasty. I also dont want to go out and buy anything. Let's save the extremely exotic seasonings for another night. Just want something simple. Any suggestions?
BTW, i have shrimp, chicken, and tilapia.

2cups of milk
1/2 tsp.Basil
1/2 tsp. garlic
add margrine or butter to pot..melt it...and then add flour, stir this in, then slowly add milk..then add herbs/spices...this will thicken up to a nice Basil/Garlic white sauce..and you can serve this with shrimp, chicken , or tilapia

White Pasta Sauce
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons flour
salt
hite pepper
2 1/2 cups milk
parmesan cheese, freshly grated
shrimp, cooked, shelled and deveined
fresh parsley, chopped
--Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour until smooth. Slowly add the milk whisking continuously until smooth. Bring to a boil and boil for about 1 minute or until the sauce is as thick as you like. Add the salt, pepper and cheese. Stir. Add the pre-cooked shrimp. Serve over pasta. Sprinkle chopped parsley over to garnish. *This is also great with added seafood or chicken*

Quick Alfredo Sauce
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
parmesan cheese, grated
1 tablespoon butter
cracked pepper
crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
--Melt butter in saucepan and add sour cream slowly, stirring constantly. Shake in Parmesan cheese while stirring until sauce thickens. Add cracked pepper to taste. Add optional crushed red pepper for a fiery twist. Pour over pasta & serve immediately. This is enough sauce for two normal servings of pasta. *Add preferred meat or seafood if you would like*

Enjoy!
