This weekend I am making pork fried rice, I usually just use some leftover pork in it, but I wanted to make it a little nicer and use the kind of pork that is used in restaurants that has that reddish tint on the outside. Does anybody know what is used for that marinade? I am also going to use this pork in some pancit later on this week.

In the early 90's I had a shrimp po boy at a shack in Gulf Port. Years later on vacation the shack was gone (replaced by a hideous casino) I can't find a creamy shrimp sandwich like that anywhere. Every po boy I have tried comes with fried shrimp. I'm desperate! If I can't find one does anybody have a recipe for a creamy, hot, shrimp po boy?
It wasn't drowned in mayo even though there was some in it, or real spicey.

Everytime i make brownies, they turn out like cake. It's not flat and it doesn't have the rough look at the surface like most brownies, it also doesn't look as dark and chocolatey as other brownies. Do i have to add anything to it?

When we lived in the Philippines in the 60s, our maids had no idea what teflon was and destroyed my mom's frying pans with scouring pans. It was a long time ago and we were far from home, we understood. But 40 years later, I still can't seem to get my brazilian wife to understand you don't use scouring pads on teflon. Is teflon a national secret???

The party begins at 7:30pm. I need to bring the Guac already made to the party. When should I make it and how should I transport it to keep it the freshest. (I heard that keeping the pits in it keeps it fresh)????

BTW....I already have my recipe.

I'm trying to eat healthy and since it's hot, I'm going to cook the salmon outside on the grill. If you know of any good sides (that don't take a long time inside or that don't make the house hot or that can be cook on the grill) please tell me. Thanks!

I have never made it and have never seen it made. I need complete instructions from how to prepare the jars to how to juice the fruit. I would like to start out with a simple strawberry or grape jelly.

Help! I have to bake something for a bake sale fundraiser tomorrow, but it's going to be outdoors and the weather forecast is 90 degrees and sunny. Any ideas for something that will stand up to being outdoors in the heat for a few hours?

Since childhood mayonaise has been a crucial element in all of my sandwiches. But being grown up and trying to take care of my body I know I have to do without it. I'm curious about alternatives though. I'm not opposed to mustard but would like something a little more like mayonaise, perhaps a vegan mayo? Are they any good, or are they just as bad for you?
