So one night i go to youth group and the paster makes an awsome sheperds pie! It was mashed patatoes on top, then some kind of mean, like peices kind of like taco meat just no sauce, and corn and im not sure it there was something else. My dad tryed to make it but it wasnt as good. The meat was different. My question is how do you make sheperds pie (Thats what it was called right?) and what is the right kind of meat to use? Please help. Thanks! :-)

I love unsweetened iced tea, it's best at places like The Outback Steakhouse and Applebee's. I want to brew my own, but I've never done it before.

Do you just buy black tea bags, put a bunch in a glass container and then pour boiling water over them and let it seep? How long would you let it seep for before taking them out? And then you just keep it refrigerated, how long does it last before going rancid?

I used to eat these wonderful fluffy yeast doughnuts from the bakery when I was a kid. But I'll settle for any good recipe. When I make doughnuts they seem like some greasy oblong doughy mess and I can't figure out why. I bake a lot and my cookies, pies and cakes turn out wonderfully. But these simple doughnuts I can't get right! Help! Thanks

A friend of friend is a truffle hunter and we ended up with 3 wild white truffles... the problem is, I've never cooked with, seen or tasted them. They're supposed to taste like garlic? Anyway, I'm having my parents over for dinner tonight and I'm making stuffed peppers along with a bunch of other things. I thought maybe I could grate them into my pepper stuffing? Does that sound good? Any ideas or advice? Thanks!

I'm looking to buy a Blue's Clues cake pan for my son's 3rd birthday and was wondering if anyone knew which stores carried them? I've seen them on eBay, but I need it for Tuesday.

I've never cooked scallops before. This is my plan, get those little ones and pan fry in a little butter and put it on top of some linguine noddles. As for the sauce for the noodles I guess butter and herb (what herb, I dunno) or some Lawry's garlic salt. I'm not concerned about health/fat content. I just want it to taste good.
Does this sound okay or what would you suggest? Please don't just give me some recipe website. I want to know what YOU would do.

I got an homemade icecream machine (it plugs in so you don't need to hand cranck it) from my grandparents but don't know exactly how to use it (besides plugging it in) or have any recipes for it.

Any tip would be great. . . thank you!!!
