How can I jazz up the usual buttered popcorn? Do you have any tried and true favorites? I'm open to spicy, sweet, or savory topping varieties.

Some people say it's the length of time they are boiled, some say it is due to the age of the egg. Anyone know the correct scientific answer?

I am looking for a fool-proof way to make baked spaghetti. I've had it at a restaurant-Fazoli's-and it was basically spaghetti in a dish covered in the sauce mixture and covered with mozzarella cheese. I've looked at recipes online and didn't like how it was all put together. So, I'm asking can I just make spaghetti, cover it in mozzarella cheese and bake it? Would this work?

My husband, being the wonderful man he is, has requested shepherd's pie for Valentine's Day. He loves it and we haven't had it in awhile. However, this isn't really what I consider a romantic meal. I'd like to dress it up by serving an appetizer, salad and dessert. The dessert is easy. I'm making cheesecake because that his hubby's favorite. But I have no clue what kind of appetizer or salad would go with shepherd's pie.

Any ideas? Anyone?

I put my store bought highliner fish packs on my Balcony, because my freezer was full. The temperature outside is -15 celcius(or 5 farenheit) but in the daytime there is a strong sun, although the air does remain -15. I noticed that the fish packs are no longer air tight as they were when I bought them. I noticed that the first was still solid to the touch but perhaps slightly softer. Are they still safe to eat? To give an idea, I also put my icecreame on the balcony and it got alot softer but didn't melt. Is it safe to eat the fish?

I would like the answer to contain facts, reason why it would or would not be ok to eat. No simple answers like "no" or "I wouldn't" "my mom told me never to do that" "It's not good to eat refrozen" I want reason's.

Thank you in advance to those people who give proper answers. It's people like you who make life possible.

I love the bran muffins from McDonald's (yes, don't knock them unless you've tried them) and I have perfected my own recipe. The McDonald's muffins have sort of a crispier top. Mine don't. Does anyone have a hint or something to try to get this crispier crust on the top?

Had one today. The fish itself was nothing to brag about, but the way it was made was awesome.Couldn't be better. Here in Southern California we have the some of the best mexican food, hence the best tortillas, which are so crucial for a good burrito. The lady made it with a bit of love and then I added the lime....What about you???

Last time I had chateaubriand with onion flavored potatos and mushrooms.

Starter was cucmber and tomato salad with vinagrette.

Dessert was warm fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream and strawberries on top, with warm chocolate sauce on that.

NOW, I need another great menu, with a main course, starter and dessert.

BLESS you all!!

David
