You can get good lump crab in a can by Philips. It's really good and a whole lot better then the imitation crab stuff and it's about 1 lb and already cooked.

It's cooked. Whether it's the imitation crab from Kemp or the canned stuff by the tuna.

That's imitation crab meat (It's actually Pollock), and is already cooked.
Just mix it with mayo, celery and onion, or just sprinkle it over your salad.

thats called "imitation crab". that crab is already cooked so you dont need to cook it. just make sure to keep it chilled. that crab is really cod so I dont know how it will turn out if you cook it

You don't have to cook it for salad's..
I've used it for cooking in Chinese food tho..Just basically warm it up..
