Well, yeah. Peanut butter is quite fatty. The nutrition content doesn't change just ecause you put it on bread. Read the nutrition labels.

Peanut butter is a good source of protein but you want to watch the serving size on the label. Buy peanut butter that does not have any added fats or oil - make sure it is JUST peanuts (and maybe salt). There's nothing wrong with peanut butter. A better option for the white bread though is a whole wheat slice or a whole wheat pita (toasted is yummy!) If you like rice cakes that's another good alternative - and a crunchy one. It's also good with apples, celery, low-cal waffles, etc. Try almond butter too for an interesting change of pace.

Yes, although there is a lot of nutrition in the peanut butter. Not so with the white bread. Ditch the bread and put your peanut butter on celery or an apple.

White bread should be illegal. It is total crap. Do you remember in kindergarten if they ever gave you white flour and water to play with ? What did it make ? Glue !!! And thats what youre putting in your gut when you eat white bread. This is the beginning of disease. Your body cant take in nutrients once your colon is congested with that GUNK, and this is one reason eople get fat. THey keep eating and eating, but they are still hungry, because they are not absorbing the nutrients due to all that crud. White sgar andn meat make an even beter combo with white bread to guarantee cancer o the colon. There is no fibre in white bread. All the bran and fibre has been taken out. Peanut butter has more protein than steak ounce per ounce, but Almond uter is way better for you and just as tasty. It is the only nut that is alkaline, as opposed to being acidic. 10 almnds a day give s you tremendous energy and it is also brain food. WE eat way too much acidic food. Disease can only grow in an environemnt of acidity. Other highly acidic substances are nicotine, alcohol, and white sugar. Please use whole wheat or multi grain bread.

PB is extremely fattening/calorie laden. I use a super reduced calorie version that I get a health food place, and it still has 100 calories per 2 tbsp. Regular peanut butter on white bread could easily you at about 500 calories, depending on what bread and how much PB you use.

peanut butter alone is fattening. Switch your white bread and get 100% whole wheat. or for a nutritious snack, spread some peanut butter on celery or apple slices.
make sure you have plenty of low fat milk(your gonna need it) lol
