Has anyone ever tried mixing different tinned soups, like a soup cocktail??? lol

I have done a few recently and they're magic!! Ive done it with Heinz Big soup (chicken and leek) mixed with baxters lentil... YUM!!! Oxtail mixed with beef broth is good as well. Oh, and if you like tomato, try mixing that with a tin of lentil to make tomato and lentil, sounds crap - tastes sooooooperb!!!!

Have any of you tried any good combos???

I have tried for many years to make a curry that tastes great but is not overly spicy. I made many from scratch from the base ingredients but it tends to lack flavour. I've heard that adding chocolate or similar can add the wonderful indian taste I crave but I have'nt found a relatively simple recipe that works yet. I'd really appreciate any recipes to try.

Which is right?

Some recipes tell you to make the caramel by mixing the condensed cream with butter and sugar, but the condensed cream is already SO sweet!?!

Other recipes say heat the unopened can in boiling water for 1-2 hours and it will caramelize. No need to add anything else, yet on the can in warns that the tin may EXPLODE if you do that!

What should I do?

I've tried the common marinade, I've tried baking.....etc.

I love tofu when served in a restaurant, there's no funny aftertaste. I can't seem to replicate the taste at home unless I deep fry it (something I don't like to do too often).
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

It is kind of like yeast bread. I can remember my Mom making it when I was a child.

I just started cooking a year ago, and I love cooking "healthier" food--not necessarily rice cakes and spinach leaves, but not super greasy or goey with sugar and cheese either.

I have a subscription to Kraft's recipe magazine, and have my grandma's recipes, but most of them use chicken and fish. While I understand the importance of both, I'm looking to expand my "menu" a bit.

Does anyone have any recipes for any meat (besides chicken and fish) that aren't too difficult? Thanks!

Dennis has just got his bank statement regarding his account card. He notices that there is a lot less money at the account than he has expected. He is missing more than 30.000($4000) Swedish kronor. Can he get his money back or does he have to accept them as lost if it is showed that:
A)He has left his card in his car while the car was parked at Arlanda while he was on holiday in France for a week?
B)He had lost the card, but did not report the lost card to the police for a week because he was busy at work as well as in his private life?
please answer in detail..

I've been hooked on smoothies lately but I've only made a few combinations because I'm not sure what would taste good together. I've made orange banana, strawberry banana, banana yogurt...and that's about it! Any other fruits and/or vegetables that taste good in a smoothie recipe? I have protein powder, too, that I can add. I'm looking for health as well as taste.
P.S. I can't use peanut butter or any kind of nuts! Thanks!

I am having a lunch party. I ould like to know, first, if anyone knows a good yummy recipe for tuna bake that everyone will love (not from the internet, or cook book, but like your grandmas secret recipe or something). Second, what kind of appitizers, finger-sandwich filling, and other foods and etc. goes well with it. We will be having elders, adults, teenagers, and kids, and the kids and some teens are picky eaters. Please help soon. Thanks
