I am having a lunch party. I ould like to know, first, if anyone knows a good yummy recipe for tuna bake that everyone will love (not from the internet, or cook book, but like your grandmas secret recipe or something). Second, what kind of appitizers, finger-sandwich filling, and other foods and etc. goes well with it. We will be having elders, adults, teenagers, and kids, and the kids and some teens are picky eaters. Please help soon. Thanks

try a nice salad with some mixed greens, grapes and avocado with a nice lemon raspberry vinegarette...This is delish with a tuna bake or a quiche...the lemon and sweet offsets the tuna awesome!

a lunch should seem effortless, and nothing to heavy, when I serve a tuna or salmon bake or quiche or omelette, I usually have a salad...

I would serve some nice store bought appetizers, like from M&M Meats or a shrimp ring...

maybe make a nice warm artichoke dip to serve with crackers

some nice cheeses, nothing to stinky or heavy with tuna, though

fresh fruit, maybe some yoghurt dip with it...

Tuna Tetrazzini

1 can 6 oz Flaked Light Tuna, drained
¼ lb.spaghetti
1 cup frozen peas
1 cup light sour cream
½ tsp. regular prepared mustard
2 Tbsp.sherry (optional)
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
pinch white pepper, optional

Preheat oven to 375ºF. Bring a large pot of salted water to a full rolling boil. Add the spaghetti and boil uncovered, stirring occasionally, until cooked al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Then, drain but do not rinse. Meanwhile, rinse the peas under running water to remove the ice crystals. Drain well and set aside.

In a large bowl, stir the sour cream with the mustard and sherry, if using. Add the drained cooked spaghetti and stir until coated. Then stir in ½ cup mozzarella cheese. Add the tuna and peas. Stir just until evenly distributed

Taste and add more mustard or some white pepper, if you wish. Turn the tuna mixture into a deep-dish pie plate. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake in the center of the preheated oven until hot, about 25 minutes.

Serve with salad & dinner rolls - fruit salad and dessert. For appetizers - stuffed mushrooms or mini quiches.

First, don't use canned tuna. Use fresh tuna (ask for sushi grade from your fishmonger.)
Grill tuna steaks, seasoned with lemon, salt, & pepper.
Serve with corn on the cob, lemon cake, and spinach dip for appetizers.
Bon Appetitie!
