Want to get the brown crispy stuff on the meat - forget the cooking term. Then be able to throw the veggies in too and get that stuff on those. Confused too especially on the type of sides of the pan when I read the cookware guides. I also dont want non-stick, hate having to care about scratching it while cleaning.

I'm developing recipes for a middle America non-gourmet audience. Do you consider paprika, dried mustard or rice vinegar exotic? Would an unfamiliar ingredient keep you from trying a recipe? Thanks!

I love the blue cheese dip you get in places like Old Orleans and Hard Rock Cafe, does anybody have a recipe or know how I could go about making it? Or alternatively where I can buy something like it? I'd prefer to make it myself but it's so good I'd settle for buying it! Thanks!

Or does it just taste better?
Are all farmed salmon of the same quality?
Are there any studies that state that ALL farmed salmon is an inferior product?
Could some salmon culturists be more carefull with what they feed their stock & avoid the problems of overcrowding?

I am looking at remodeling my kitchen and I plan to install a new gas cooktop. I would love your opinions on which would be the best stovetop to purchase. I love to cook and try to pretend I am a gourmet! I have wondered about a Viking, Wolf, or Bosch cooktop. Thanks for any help!

Some people say a cast iron skillet is best, but I wonder is it just about getting the oil hot enough. By the way I'm making french fries.

Trying to stay away from red meat for 2007 also. Dairy (cheeses/creams) are fine. Also open to exotic spices and other ingredients. Would like to keep them fresh and firm. So no stews or heavy boiling. Any ideas?

Thanks.....email you a picture of the result if it works out.

I was at a Superbowl party a couple of years ago and someone brought sweet and sour kielbasa in a crock pot. It was fabulous, but i don't really recall the recipie, other than I think the sauce was ketchup based.

Anyone know this one ?

I made an oven stuffer for dinner the other night (came out great) and as usual there is a ton of chicken leftover. I wanted to see if anybody had any recipes that would use up some of the chicken. I know the usual things like chicken salad and chicken pot pie... I was really hoping for some other ideas. Any great recipes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)
