I like ham and peas in the meal but I have a hard time melting the cheese. I use velveeta that I cut into chunks but I'm not getting that smooth cheesey look, taste and feel. I think I use enough cheese.

He's coming over tomorrow, and I feel kinda bad because he always does such sweet stuff for me, and I want to do something for him this time, so instead of microwaving leftovers I want to make something special. (But I'm a vegetarian and he's next best thing to a carnivore...so that's pretty much why I'm asking Yahoo answers.)

I'm looking for an old hamburger soup recipe that my mother used to make. I know that it includes ground beef, lipton onion soup mix, beef broth, and a couple of can's of veg-all vegetables, and tomatoes. I've searched high and low for a recipe like this on the internet, but I can't find one that is similar. Can anybody help me out on this. I've got a serious craving for it. Thanks to all that respond.

Mushroom Chicken:
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 pkg. dry chicken gravy mix
1 sm can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
(1 cup white wine)
8 oz. pkg cream cheese, softened

Going in crock pot, I just don't want to use the wine...what else would substitute for that?

Hi, I want to make salads, like those ones with green peas, beets, meat etc....
And there is one with mushroom but I have no idea of names at all, you make it in the oven.
And one I think is made with cream cheese or something like that; pardon my ignorancy, I have tried them but do not know the names.
Or any other simple ones that you might know of.

thanks
