When I was younger, my father used to save the leftover rice and mix it with condensed milk and evaporated milk to make a desert. What is this called and what proportions should I use of the ingredients? I'd really love to make this for my kids.

My daughter picked a few pounds of olives. I slit each one & then prepared them according to a recipe - with lemon and garlic and salt water. I have tasted them a few times and they're still bitter, but they are getting better; they don't taste salty enough. Should I add salt now - about 3 weeks into the process - or just leave it alone?

A friend and I have been having a 'debate' about why anyone would eat Quorn (who isn't veggie). They are trying to convince me that it makes sense from a health perspective as it is low in fat etc.. But I reckon that eating a low fat meat, or fish makes more sense, and will certainly be a lot tastier. What are people's thoughts? Can you convince me to take the plunge?

...as a finger food to accompany hot teas? It should not be sticky; I was thinking, maybe something like the honey-roasted nuts that you buy in the can. Does anyone have a recipe to share? I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Well, I've been hearing that you can make those little breakfast burritoes for breakfast. But like, how do I warm the burritoe in the oven? For how long? and should I do it 'til it's crispy?
I was thinking about slabbering melted cheese all over the warmed burrito and put in bacon, and scrammbled in the middle..........

I used to have this recipe and I lost it. It is like a shortbread cookie, it does not have IMO or sour cream in it.
I would appreciate it very much!!

I've breaded thawed chicken by dipping the chicken breasts in egg and then mashing them around in a pile of breadcrumbs. I cook in a non-stick frying pan, in oil and some salad dressing for taste. When flipping the chicken breasts, some of the breadcrumb layer always peels or falls off. How to prevent this?
