I'm in the process of baking a cake right now. I just noticed the date on the carton of eggs from my refrigerator said to "sell by August 01". Obviously I don't eat a lot of eggs. But, the cake should still be safe to eat, right?

What can I use.. a combination of oil and some other ingredient?? Any suggestions would be helpful How about for brown sugar?? I know brown sugar is white sugar and molasses but no molasses so ya think i can mix white sugar and say syrup that you would use for pancakes??

I take care of my brother and I'd like some tips on how to control his appetite. He justifies the vast amount of food he eats by saying he exercises so it cancels out, and he doesn't consider what I cook without meat a meal. What's the best way to control his appetite (I know boys generally eat a lot but there has to be a limit)?

Need to get some olive oil for dinner tonight as have run out, went to local shop and all they have is vegetable/sunflower oil (which I don't like frying and roasting in) and almond oil!

What's it like? The shopkeeper couldn't understand it when I asked him, I think he's new to the country. Is the flavour too strong? Can you use it exactly in the way you use olive oil? Please don't google it, only reply if you've used it yourself, thanks!

A friends Mom used to make meat pies.
She used pie crust, ground beef, canned Veg-All , and who knows what else. But they were GOOD!
They were about 6" dia.
I don't know how she made them. Did she:
cook the meat first?
Oven temp?
Can anyone help me out here?
