Just wondering is it ok to make chilli in a slow cooker(crock pot)..or is it just to cook specfic things like a stew..what all can you cook in one?i know stews anything else?

Oh my gods yes you can cook chili in the crockpot! It's so good after all that time, and the flavors really come out.
There are literally thousands of crockpot recipes out there from soups, dips, enchiladas, stews, brisket, side dishes, and even desserts!

yes! you can make almost anything in a crock pot. Chili is excellent after cooking all day!!

home made chicken soup is great in a slow cooker too... gravy... steamed veggies... rice. sirlion... sausage.. all kinds of thing can go well... the slow process makes it extra tastey!

You can cook just about anything in a crockpot. My mother in law makes her chili in a crockpot and it is fabulous!
I make my spaghetti sauce in mine.

chicken soup
pork roast (after cooking shred it with a fork and add your favorite BBQ sauce)
beef roast with potatos & carrots
hungarian goulash
chicken and rice casserole
it is endless, use your imagination and give it a try.
