Just mix flour with salt and pepper to taste and sparkling water, until you get the right consistency (somewhere between single and double cream) - very light and bubbly. Just add salad!

2 cups flour
garlic powder to taste
onion powder to taste
salt and pepper to taste
1 can of beer

dump the first 4 ingredients in a zip lock bag, add your fish or chicken, close it, shake the bag around to coat . take out the meat and put on a plate. add the beer to the dry ingredients and dip the fish or chicken in the batter to coat, place in 350 degree oil to cook. fish 3-5 minutes or until they float chicken 7-10 minutes or until they float.

whip one egg white and dip the fish/chicken in it, then roll the meat around in bread crumbs, the oven bake or fry it. Served with assorted steamed vegetables, and white wine.

I use flour, milk, some fizzy water and salt. the fizzy water makes it light and bubbly!

serve with it either home made oven chips or potato wedges! yum!
