Sandwiches are so boring and I get fed up with making them for him too! I would like to give him different things to eat but I can't think of anything. I make pies occasionally but that gets boring too. Please help! He needs something he can eat easily, that's why I mentioned the lorry driver bit because he can't get cleaned up anywhere.

I live in India where bread flour is not easily availble. How do I make bread flour then? One site(http://www.ochef.com/430.htm) says it is all purpose flour + malted barley + potassium bromate. I would like to know the proportions of all these.

Or, does any one know other ways of making bread flour.

For my husband,I need to make some snack,so that he can bring them to work. But it should be something salty, not sweet.Fried snacks loose their crisp if kept in a box for sometime,so those are not good.Any advice is welcome.

My mother and I have been searching for about 20 years for a buttermilk pie recipe. The Lighthouse Restaurant's cook wouldn't give hers out. It's not custardy, it's more of a cream pie.
