Chili Sausages is a favourite in our house:
Enough sausages for how ever many people you are serving
1 x red pepper chopped
2x onions, chopped
1 x clove garlic, chopped
1 x tin chopped tomatoes
chili powder to taste
coriander, chopped
Fry the sausages til brown all over, then put them in a casserole dish
Fry the pepper, onions and garlic in a little oil til brown, then stir in the chili and fry for a few seconds, then add to the casserole dish.
Pour over the tomatoes, fill the can half full with water and add that to the dish (or you could use stock cube instead), season then bake in the oven for about 40 minutes.
Add the coriander and taste to check the seasoning.

Grill or fry your sausages first together with onions. Get a casserole dish, place sausages and onions in, Make up a gravy stock. Add 1 spoon of bovril if u have it. Add salt, pepper, mixed herbs. To be honest u can add whatever u fancy to taste it up ie. garlic, tom puree, whatever u fancy. Add veg to it if u want, i.e. peas, Put in over for about 20 mins. Cook some potatoes, then mash it. Cook any other veg that u want with it. Hey presto, u have bangers and mash and whatever other veg u want. Enjoy

potato-sausage casserole
This recipe is easy to make and very good! My mom used to make it when my sister and I were little and we had little to no money. We called it our "middle of the pay-period" dish since its really easy to make and the ingredients were usually on-hand.
1 bag shredded hash browns
1 package smoked sausage or Little Smokies sausage
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 dash salt and pepper
1/2 bag shredded cheddar cheese
milk (if ingredients are not wet enough) (optional)
Mix all ingredients in casserole dish.
Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees F or until brown and bubbly.
enjoy

Pork sausages, Whitworth's dried mixed vegetables; dried mushrooms, an OXO cube, an onion, salt and pepper, a shake of Worcester sauce, a shake of tomato ketchup, a dab of mustard and a quarter teaspoonful of sugar.
Place in a casserole, put in oven for 40 minutes.
Believe me, it TASTES JUST GREAT.

When I lived in England I often made a quick sausage casserole using an undiluted tin of Campbell's condensed vegetable broth and added some sausage to it. (Continental, preferably paprika flavoured, not your average banger) I suppose you could use bangers, but you'd have to slice and fry them a bit before adding to the soup. Crusty bread and a green salad?
