I'm making a surprise for my best friend and I need THE BEST recipe. Please give me some where you can use normal oven, not the special bread oven.

Thank you !!!!

I love the cooking shows on The Food Network, but I've noticed something that drives me nuts-no clue why. It's a little silly, but maybe there is a good answer. Why do all the cooks keep some of their ingredients in a little bowls instead of in the containers they came in? When they put it in their food, they take a pinch out of the bowl. They always seem to keep thier salt and pepper in little bowls. It's not just fresh ingredients they keep in there, either. Does anyone ever notice that?

I need new cookware and I have no idea what kind is the best. I've heard that cookware with tephlon is harmful. What kind is easy to cook with and food doesn't stick but has no harmful disadvantages?

The recipe calls for 8 oz of thawed Cool Whip- Kraft recommends refrigerating the cool-whip for 4 hours to thaw- is there any way to speed it up? The Cool Whip gets folded into a key lime mix and cream cheese.

My father has hinted at it being a disgusting procses since I was small. I've tried to get him to tell me how it's made, but he refuses. I'll still eat it and he still eats it, but he says it is a gnarly process, how they make it.

Could someone clear something up here for me?

I saw on Real Sex on HBO one time where a woman was cooking her placenta because of its high iron content. Do you know where I can buy some? I've got a killer recipe for a pasta dish, but need the main ingredient to top it off.

My husband and I get home from work nightly from 930pm-11pm. By that time we are hungry and have to cook dinner. I need some idea for some filling yet not so heavy dinners so late at night. Because I know it's not healthy to eat so late anyways. So if you guys could suggest light dinners with chicken, shrimp etc... Also ideas to make the cooking go faster. I use a George Foreman Grill and I am going to start defrosting things overnight and seasoning them in the morning.

we went to a friend's house last year for dinner and she served this fabulous soup...
They've since moved away, so I don't have a location for them to ask for the recipe...
I don't want websites, I really would like serious answers!
Thanks much!
