What are some things that you like to cook in your crock pot? I love mine... Especially when it's summer and it's too hot to put the oven on. Also I think it saves time because I can put it on before work and then when I get home it is all done.

I have several pounds of large already-cooked already-cleaned frozen shrimp. Other than the obvious -- i.e., dipping them in cocktail sauce and eating as an appetizer -- who has some recipes that I can use them in? I 'm worried they'll start to get freezer-burned if I keep them too long.

If the chunks are too small the potatos will get watery right? Is there any reason not to boil them whole? My mashed potatos always seem to come out bland and I think maybe it is because they are too watery. Thanks for any advice!

I need a good menu for when it is my turn to do a varsity team dinner. One day a week, after practice,the varsity soccer team has a dinner together. Parents take turns preparing and serving dinners to the boys. I would like something fairly easy to put together,because I will be serving it at the high school near the locker rooms. I am also hoping to find something that most teenage boys will enjoy. Cost is also somewhat of a factor, as unfortunately I am not independantly wealthy. :] Thanks !
