My current favorite is:
1 banana
7 frozen strawberries
1 cup various frozen berries (raspberries/blackberries are good)
1 Tbs flax seed
1/2 cup oatmeal (it's good, I swear!)
1 cup vanilla soy milk (you could also use skim/whole milk)

I've been working on variations of this, but I'd like something different. Any good-n-healthy ideas would be great!

Thanks!

2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. crisco shortening
1/2c. butter (real butter, its important)
1T. sugar
1 1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt

Cut cold butter and shortening into other dry ingredients. When it looks about the size of pea gravel - some pieces the size of peas, but most smaller - Start adding tablespoons of ice water one at a time until it just binds together. Push it into a ball and wrap in plastic and let it sit in the fridge at least 20 min. or up to a couple days if making it ahead. Makes great pastry, people will think you're a genius. LOL 2 single crust or 1 double crust.

Sometimes when I make an apple pie I end up with a lot of juice(after it comes out of the oven) At times I could actually pour the juice out of the pie plate. What am I doing wrong? Apple season is right around the corner and I want to make a perfect apple pie. I use different kinds of apples, could this be the problem?

Sometimes when I make an apple pie it seems like the apples sink down in the crust when I cook it. So when I go to cut the pie there is a space(sometimes a large space) between the apples and the crust. Why is this happening? Am I not using enough apples?

For reference, here are some of the easy foods that I already like to make:

tuna sandwiches
eggs
baked potatos
canned soups

I don't mind cooking as long as it's as easy as throwing a potato into the oven and turning it on, but when I need to do any more than that it just sits in the freezer for months until I throw it away.

Please share your super-fast easy and healthy meals for the rest of us lazy bastards :)

I mean, i love my owns smell, but others are just repulsive, why? I could only see the difference being that we ate maybe different foods or something of the sort, like maybe ate 13 bean burritos from Taco Bell. But i doubt it would make such a huge impact on the way it smelled. I think mine smell like dirty fingernails with expired lowfat sour cream, and a hint of lime. It sounds bad, yes, but to me, they just arent as repulsive as my buddy Leeroys. When Leeroy farts its like...a rotten avocado and onion dip, with a tiny bit of parsley..and BAM! Its just bad, this question has been just bottled up in my head and i really cant figure it out.

I made homemade seasoning because I don't have time to goto the store and get a pack. But now I don't know how much water I need inorder to make these tacos right. The seasoning I made is a recipie from online, and according to it, I have the equivilent to one pack of seasoning. Maybe you can grab a pack and glance at it for me please?

Everything healthy that you could have for breakfast doesn't seem to keep me full. For example; if I had eggs, bacon, and toast that would probably keep me full, but wouldn't be the best for my health. What are some healthy breakfast choices that keep you going?
