Everything healthy that you could have for breakfast doesn't seem to keep me full. For example; if I had eggs, bacon, and toast that would probably keep me full, but wouldn't be the best for my health. What are some healthy breakfast choices that keep you going?

Real Oatmeal (not the single serving kind) with fruit and walnuts, juice

Tomatoes are in season...toasted tomato sandwich, bacon on it is good!

The key here is protein. I am the exact same way as you are. I swear that cereal makes me hungry! Try making an egg and cheese sandwich on toast. You can make the egg in the microwave. Simply butter the bottom of a cereal bowl, crack the egg in the bowl, and break the yolk. Cover with a paper towel, and microwave for 1 minute. Put egg onto a piece of toast and cover with a piece of cheese. The hot egg will melt the cheese. This keeps me full for hours. Another option would be a sausage sandwich on toast. Ham and cheese grilled in a toaster oven on a bagel is good. Peanut butter on toast. A bacon sandwich is good, too. You could also have egg, cheese and bacon on toast or a toasted bagel. Scrambled egg with ham and cheese is quick and easy. You could take a hard boiled egg to school and have it as a snack between classes. Again, it has lots of protein to keep you filled up and it would be quick to eat. I always have a glass of mild with my breakfast. That also seems to help sustain me. Good Luck!

I eat oatmeal. But I eat it like cereal. I don't cook it all the way; so the oats are still cruchy, then I pour in a bit of milk to cool down the oats, then I sprinkle it lightly with sugar for a bit of sweetness. I hear there's a honey grapenuts..and that usually keeps me full. Finish that off with some orange juice...and I'm good. Granola bars might be good too.

Chunky Applesauce

Nothing beats the taste of homemade applesauce and fixing it in the slow cooker couldn't be easier. Serve it alone or spooned over warm gingerbread.

1/2 to 1 cup water
1/2 to 1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Place apples, water, cinnamon and sugar in slow cooker. Cook on low 8 to 10 hours, or on high 3 to 4 hours.

Good old fashioned oatmeal. Have it with a slice of toast with peanut butter on it and a glass of milk. It will keep you filled up.

Seriously, I recommend a bowl of Mini-Wheats with WHOLE MILK. The fat slows down the absorption of glucose into the blood stream from the small intestine.

Smoothies are usualy really good - like, bananas, orange juice, strawberries, pretty much any combination of fruits.
Also i really like the quaker flavored oatmeal - especially cinnamon. 2 packets of those keep me really full, and it's healthy
