Hey, I am cooking a boneless skinless chicken breast and there is another one in the package, I was wondering if i can refrigerate instead of freeze it because i will probably be eating it tomorrow (in about 17-18 hours lol)?? Or should I just freeze it?

I am making a black bean soup for work, it says I have to soak the beans overnight. I am making the soup on Sunday and I do not work Saturday. Would it be ok to start the beans soaking on Friday?

I think my great great grandmother called it depression cake but none of the recipes I have found online are quite right. I know there was also ginger but I don't think there were eggs or milk but I could be wrong on that point.

I remember watching a cooking show, and seeing a great recipe for this dish. The basics are as follows: make a consomme, then chill it until it solidifies. Then take scoops of the chilled consomme and coat them completely in a batter. Then fry the batter. When served the heat will have liquified the consomme again, but it will all be contained within the batter.

Has anyone else seen this, or have a link to a similar recipe? I'd love to try making this.

I had a recipe for oatmeal cookies that had toffee bits in them instead of raisens. They were so good but I lost the recipe. I think I got it from a taste of home magazine or one of those
