I love to brown hamburger meat. Drain. Add taco seasoning and a tad of water. When the seasoning has coated the meat well, add to mac and cheese.

Pan seared, sliced smoked sausage is really good. Tonight we happened to have macaroni and cheese with hamburgers and baked beans on the side.
