My fiancee and I are Nigerians. We would like to avoid the hassles of Lagos and get married in Ghana. Could you please tell us where to find the requirements for getting married in Ghana [residence duration, if any; legal requirements; etc.] If possible, could you suggest alternatives to Accra, or good reception venues? Any other information would be very well appreciated!

If the dinner is bad because it's at a wedding, wouldn't it make much more sense to serve something that you know you will like rather than picking something at random off a caterer's menu? Why not go with a restaurant that you already know serves good food? Most are more than happy to cater off-site and cost less than a regular wedding caterer.

Same for the cake. Everyone says wedding cake has a reputation for being nasty, yet they insist that it must be there for tradition, no questions asked. Why not get a dessert that you actually like instead?

I am willing to pay for the food/catering for my daughters wedding shower to ensure all the female guests that are invited to the wedding are also extended an invite to the shower. My own wedding shower was done as one big event. The grooms family has already indicated an interest in hosting a shower. So my thought is to host a shower only for our side....or to offer to have a joint shower.......just interested in some thoughts on this. If not, do you offend the people who wont be invited to a shower? (I have only one sister in law out of town if she throws a shower or if the maid of honor throws a shower, I would assume they would invite only the people they know....). thanks ahead of time for sharing your ideas and experience....

I am getting married (yippee) and am looking for a wedding gown designer in the bay area (SF, oakland, San Jose, Hayward, etc). I have pictures of my dream dress and MUST wear this on my big day. However, I am having a hard time trying to locate someone reputable who does really good work. I don't have a lot of time left as my wedding date is in July, so any references or help are GREATLY appreciated. Thanks In Advance

We are hoping to find something ocean front, and hopefully with a private jacuzzi. Anyone know anywhere good? Maybe on Coronado Island, or in La Jolla? Thanks!

We've having to have 5 under 5s at our wedding! I want them all in fancy dress. What do you reckon? It'd be so funny! The grooms mum keeps going,' find outfits in M&S then they can all buy the same wherever they live! I don't want the the same at all!

What's it all about for you? Making commitments for the rest of your life, or the wedding ceremony as an excuse for the biggest best, most expensive honeymoon ever. I'm going on honeymoon to Cornwall for a week- I see it as a way to relax together and revel in the new status of our relationship. My friend amazed me when I told her by saying her wedding would be all about the honeymoon. She is in a long term relationship and intends to marry the guy. What's your view?

I am getting married in Vegas, and we booked a 2600 sq ft Penthouse suite to have our reception at, rather than paying a lot for a hall. We already thought of getting a DJ, any other ideas to have fun and keep the guests entertained?

What would stay on a glass that is probably going to get condensation on it, and have to get washed when they bring it home? Any other idea's to decorate it?

ok so I'm having all roses in my bouquet and I'd like for each girl to have a different type of flower for their bouquet (all tulips for girl number one etc...)
The color needs to be purple though, so what are some other purple flowers besides roses and tulips?! there will be four bridesmaids.
