I started working on a scrapbook for my fiance and I. On May 5, 2006, he showed me a scrapbook layout he made. It had photos of us along with various decorations. It also had a small envelope covered by a heart sticker/decoration. He got down on one knee, slid the ring out of that tiny little envelope, and proposed. It was the sweetest thing. I didn't even notice the ring! I was too busy being excited over the scrapbook page! haha.

My now husband proposed to me three months after we met. His proposal was at a large Christmas charity event in front of a room full of people. We picked out our rings together beforehand so I knew he was going to propose, I just didn't know the when or where. I bought his wedding band, he bought my engagement ring and wedding rings.

Honestly, you're far too young to be worrying about marriage right now. Just enjoy being in school and your romance with your Polish friend, and if things are to work out, they will...

I waited until I found the perfect guy for me-and for him to propose-which he did in a really romantic way at a vineyard, and it knocked me off my feet.

Just be patient, and let life take it's course. Worrying about things like marriage now when your whole life is before you means you're shortchanging yourself out of the things you should be enjoying right now.

I met my husband while playing literati on Yahoo Games. We moved to Yahoo messenger, then the phone. He was living in CA and I was living in Alaska. We carried on a long distance relationship for nine months or so. One evening I called him on his cell phone and he was out with his buddies. The phone was handed off to his friends so that I could "meet" them. Everyone I talked to congratulated me and said they couldn't be happier. Once I got my husband back on the phone he mentioned that he was at his bachelor party, and oh by the way would I marry him?? *laughs*

He later moved up to Alaska and we got married. Have you thought about honeymooning in Alaska? They have some beautiful cruises that leave Seattle.

He just asked me one evening when I was at his apartment watching a movie. Got me the ring later. Guys don't get engagement rings.
At 16, you don't have a clue, girl, sorry. Talk to your mom or an auntie about this...

I'm not married yet, I'm engaged though. We are getting married April 14th, 2007. We were laying in bed one night and he said he was going to marry me. I just ignored it. I figured he was just talking. Then a few minutes later he asked me would I marry him. :)

Best night of my life! We haven't got rings yet because we are trying to save for the house we are going to move in.
