Sure, she can wear whatever you want her to wear.
Two things to consider though: If she is heavier set you may want to rethink this because the dress color may make her look even heavier which she might not like. And also, the iviory next to your whiet color may look like she is wearing something dirty or dingy, so be sure to take a picture of the dress next to something white to see how it looks first before you commit.
Good luck

Use any color you like but make sure she looks different than the rest and you. Remember this is your day and all eyes should be on you. If you want to use Ivory why not a printed design with pastel colors either flowers or swirls with her flowers to match the colors of the other girls.
Don't let other influence your final decisions on YOUR wedding, you'll only have regrets after it's all over. Do everything yourself and have it your way.

Traditionally, the maid-of-honor & best man are co-ordinated colorwise - her dress matches his vest, cumberbund, & tie. They're outfits are supposed to be a different, but complementary color to the bridesmaids & groomsmen. Nowdays, people pretty much do what they want to do in their weddings. However, the bride is supposed to be the center of attention by wearing white or ivory, so your maid-of-honor in ivory might take away attention from you and your dress. It's really up to you whether you want to go with a traditional wedding or not. Best of luck to you.

If thats what you want her to wear than fine. It's not very common to see the maid of honour wearing something very close to the same colour as the bride. But doesnt make it wrong. But try to have it look as differnt as your wedding dress that way your still standing out more.
Congrats

Technically, the MOH can wear whatever color the bride selects.
However, in photos if you have an ivory dress standing next to a white dress, the ivory one looks dingey or dirty.
If the bride is also wearing ivory, then it could look great.
It's up to you.

I don't think you should do that. It would clash with the bride and it is about her, not the maid of honour. Try asking her which colour she would prefer.
